Diane Leon-Ferdico Administrator diane.leon.ferdico@nyu.edu Diane Leon-Ferdico is the department's CFO - she administers all the departmental budgets and funds. She also provides administrative support to the faculty, maintains the course schedules and processes all high-level confidential documents in the department. Diane is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Arts with the Paul McGhee Division within the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Shayne Leslie Figueroa Administrative Assistant shayne.figueroa@nyu.edu Shayne Leslie Figueroa is responsible for day-to-day administrative operations in the department and serves as an assistant to the department's chair, Lawrence Schiffman, and Director of Graduate Studies. Her administrative work primarily includes helping students and faculty navigate NYU paperwork mazes. She is also the event planner for the department, helping organize and run several conferences and lecture series a year. In addition to her administrative duties, Shayne is currently completing coursework in NYU's John W. Draper Interdisciplinary Master's Program in Humanities and Social Thought. Her research interests include food studies, postwar American history and popular culture. Shayne is also the department webmaster.
