Dr. Edward H. Bersoff
 Dr. Edward H. Bersoff is Chairman and CEO of ATS Corporation, an information technology company based in Northern Virginia. Earlier, in 1982, he founded and led BTG, Inc., also an IT company, that he took public and later sold in 2001. He has served as an alumni trustee of NYU from 2002 to 2007. He is currently a member of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University where he served as Rector (Chair) from 2004 to 2007. He is also a member of the VCU Health System Board of Trustees.
Dr. Bersoff earned three degrees in Mathematics from New York University: his B.A. from Washington Square College in 1962, an M.S. from the Graduate School of Arts and Science in 1964, and a Ph.D. from the School of Education in 1968. He also is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program.
Dr. Bersoff has taught mathematics at New York University, Kingsborough Community College in New York, Northeastern University and Boston University in Massachusetts, and American University in Washington, DC. He is currently a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at George Mason University’s School of Engineering and School of Management. |
