Itamar Radai is a Schusterman Post-Doctoral fellow at the Taub Center for Israel Studies for the 2010-2011 Academic Year. He received his PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2008. Prof. Radai's dissertation is currently being translated into English and is titled entitled "A Tale of Two Cities: Palestinian Arab Society, Institutions and Fighters in Jerusalem and Jaffa, 1947-1948." His main fields of research interest include Modern History of the Palestinians and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Professor Radai is teaching the undergraduate-level course "The War of 1948" (V78.0189) in Spring 2011.
